Clinical Backgrounds provides background checks and drug testing for clinical programs in the U.S. This project included the design and implementation of a relational database to store, access, and update personal information of student applicants. Administrative interface included a multi-tier user management platform that provides a user-friendly, easy-to-use interface to manage applicants and administrators. This website application is used by education institutions as well as hospitals to verify background check information. Since students are required to submit payment for these services, secure payment processing was fully integrated using the Authorize.NET developer API.

As a premedical student, I developed this website as a resource for other premeds. To shadow a doctor has become an unwritten requirement to attend medical school. However, there was previously no resource for premedical students to find these opportunities.
After scrubbing the web, emailing schools and hospitals I was able to collect a reasonable number of programs in nearly all states. Hopefully, the website will help at least one other person - if so, I will consider it a success.

DUI Attorney is an attorney lead generation company that manages targeted online advertising for attorneys that specialize in drunk driving defense cases. The mobile version of the website uses HTML5 geolocation to search the online database for qualified attorneys in the user's area.
